Therapeutic Mentoring provides at risk youth an opportunity to spend one on one time with an individual Youth Worker setting goals and working on the promotion of healthy social and emotional development.
Therapeutic mentoring also provides stressed parents respite from their children when they feel overwhelmed and are struggling to avoid negative reactionary outcomes when dealing with problematic behaviors.
Therapeutic mentors include fun activities in the community or at Youth Services, while helping the client to process issues they may be experiencing in other social/emotional arenas.
