Individual Therapy

ind_therapyLicensed professional counselors and social workers provide therapy to children and teens struggling with depression, anxiety, bullying, familial stressors, grief & loss, sexual identity issues, and suicidal ideation. Through the therapeutic relationship, children establish and achieve goals, develop effective coping skills, and build an emotional vocabulary to identify and deal with their presenting concerns. Oftentimes and when appropriate, alternative approaches including play therapy, music therapy, and art therapy are utilized.

“Youth Services has given our family our happy-go-lucky Avery back. Even when she has a bad day at school, she is able to shake it off and have fun once she gets home thanks to some of the skills she has learned from her therapist.” -Parent
