Adventures Programs
The Adventure Programs are groups designed to help kids with their social skills. Kids involved in the programs learn and apply appropriate social skills for interacting with peers. The groups are activity based, giving participating children a chance to practice these skills in culturally and socially rich environments both at Youth Services and in the community. Upon entering the group, children set goals with the Youth Services staff and review and evaluate these goals every three months or more frequently if needed. Adventures Groups meet year round, two Saturdays a month and include:
- Weekend Adventures - for children in grades 2 through 5
- Junior High Adventures – for children in grades 6 through 8
